Purpose and goal:

The overall purpose of the assignment is to analyze challenges and opportunities for the companies within Automation Småland to assist the Swedish manufacturing industry with solutions that contribute to minimizing the effect of the predicted skills shortage. Expected results and effects:

Conceptual ideas around different automation solutions, competence needs in a manufacturing industry that increases its degree of automation in production and needs of customers linked to technology and automation, as well as a description of abilities/capacity of integrators. Approach and implementation:

Interviews, benchmarking and workshops with various manufacturing industries respectively within the framework of Automation Småland and their industrial network.
