Hemp and Hope

Purpose and goal:

Hemp and Hope challenges and redefines the concept of superfoods, focusing on the broader food system and collective application. Using hemp as an example of a multifunctional crop, the project highlights its potential for promoting self-reliance, resilience, and innovation in a future marked by volatility and water scarcity. We aim to inspire policymakers, food product developers, and the general public, influencing new consumer perceptions and choices with hemp as the new superfood standard.

Expected results and effects:

Rethinking superfoods through a systemic lens, we aim to highlight the impact and potential of both individuals and the collective. Focusing on European water and food systems, we engage strategic stakeholders to shift mindsets about our volatile food systems and promote individual responsibility. This narrative fosters lasting change toward collective food security and ideates steps towards a more sustainable food future from an individual and policy perspective.

Explore SUPER Label: A video experience showcasing for example a future AR superfood label, featuring hemp as the first example.

Sense & Share Taste of SUPER: A superfood dinner and tasting experience at Fotografiska, exploring hemp´s food potential with Martin Wall. Recipes will be made accessible.

Experience & Learn Citizen SUPER: A workshop series exploring future superfoods, working collectively on micro-manifestations of potential actions.
