Arrangement of Manufacturing R&D Cluster Conference 2024

Purpose and goal:

Objective: Technology dissemination of results from project with Swedish and European funding, among others within FFI Hållbar Produktion and Produktion2030. Introduction of two Impact Innovation Programmes: Net Zero Industry and Metals and Minerals for a wider audience, and discussions with the programmes Advenced Digitalisation and FFI Circularity..

The vision is increased collaboration between industry and researchers within sustainable manufacturing. Expected results and effects:

Planning and execution of the Manufacturin R&D Cluster Conference in Skövde, 22-23 May 2024.with theme Intelligent processes towards net-zero manufacturing with key notes and parallel sessions with industry-relevant project results. Study visits to production sites at Volvo Group and Aurobay are arranged.

This year the conference is a completely physical meeting with presentations in English so that the companies´ English-speaking staff can take part in the results. This is expected to increase the technology dissemination, which is one of the conference´s objective. Approach and implementation:

Current proposal applies to parts of the working time required for final planning and coordination of the conference by Emma Mattisson, and cluster coordinator Boel Wadman, RISE.
