Leading and managing the welfare of the future in 2025

This application concerns a conference grant for the conference Leading and managing the welfare of the future in 2025 at the University of Gothenburg.

The aim is to create an arena for dialogue and discussion about current issues and challenges with the welfare of the future.

The purpose is also to create a meeting place between research and practice in order to be able to spread knowledge about how the future welfare in Sweden can be secured. The conference is based on current research from various universities with a focus on the public sector.

The conference is aimed at managers, senior officials, politicians and others interested in future welfare and is estimated to attract between 200-300 participants.

The 2025 conference will be held for the fifth time in a row and is organized by the University of Gothenburg, and two of its center formations; Center for Health Governance (CHG) and Center for global HRM (CGHRM) as well as researchers from other parts of University of Gothenburg.The requested funds will be used to cover costs for student participation in the event, for the conference dinner and costs for the work of two conference generals during preparation and implementation.
