Purpose and goal:
To further strengthen Sweden´s position in life sciences, health, and innovation, access to SciLifeLab´s infrastructure needs to be simplified for life science companies so that they can more easily utilize SciLifeLab´s resources to facilitate their own growth. This project aims to formulate a comprehensive guideline and process for the private sector, from the first contact with SciLifeLab to full implementation.
Expected results and effects: The effect is expected to be simplified and thus increased industry use of SciLifeLab´s infrastructure.
The project aims to produce best practice guidelines for writing contracts between SciLifeLab´s various technology platforms and industrial users, as well as best practice guidelines for pricing SciLifeLab´s infrastructure. The result also includes a plan for the implementation of guidelines through effective internal and external communication (Swedish and English) of processes for access to the infrastructure for the private life science sector.
Approach and implementation:
The project´s objective will be achieved and implemented through information gathering via interviews, seminars, workshops and webinars with both internal and external actors, i.e. both within SciLifeLab, at universities and in industry. The results will be made available on the SciLifeLab webpage.
