Grant Description

Purpose and goal:

The project aims to use an innovative and high-tech treatment solution to identify and validate Circular performance on manufacturing waste streams from an industry. Standards for Cirkulär Ekonomi will help identify and evaluate water initiatives for full-scale capabilities. Internal and on-site piloting will be conducted to validate the treatment of the technology and monitor its circular performance.

The treatment solution will be further tested on similar streams to predict the reusability and transferability of the solution to other water streams. Expected results and effects: Expected effects and results of the project are the following:

- The efficient use of a standardized circularity model/method on a real-life practical circularity initiative, ultimately enabling it to be used internationally.

- A practical pilot demonstrating that predictability in technology is favourable when trying to accelerate the implementation of water circularity initiatives. Approach and implementation:

The project is planned to be implemented through six work packages with focus on establishing and applying the circularity model, as well as selecting and making external and internal piloting cases for circularity, reuse, and transferability.
