Women and longevity

Purpose and goal:

The project "Longevity Among Women" aims to promote longevity with a female perspective in Sweden. Through a conference, we bring together researchers, innovators, and decision-makers to share knowledge and network. The focus is on women´s health, particularly the role of ovaries in aging. The goal is to increase interest and initiate more similar initiatives. By addressing age-related diseases, we contribute to global health and economic growth.

Expected results and effects:

We aim to create a focus group composed of researchers, innovators, and decision-makers to discuss the main interests and needs regarding "Women and longevity" and identifying thought leaders. The conference organization will consider the focus group´s input, fostering a fertile ground for business innovation and exciting new collaborations. Such an environment will also help increase Sweden´s visibility in this field. The event will be a physical meeting comprising presentations, workshops, and a mingling session.

Approach and implementation: Event structure: Half-day conference (13h-18h). Event content: 3h presentations, 1h workshops, 1h mingling section. Implementation: - Selected Venue: Epicenter - July-August: Contact focus group participants and prospective speakers. - August: Media pages (LinkedIn and Instagram) and first press release.

- September: Release the agenda of the event and update report. - Event date: November. - December-January: Event evaluation and report.
