Efficient and safe maintenance through AI

transport infrastructure. There are systemic lock-ins that prevent the technology from being applied: an important key is to develop policy. Regulations must keep pace with technological development. The aim of the project is to (1) examine how existing policies can be adapted to enable this; and (2) to test how policy labs can be used to increase

The hope is that the project will contribute to concrete proposals for adaptation of the prevailing regulations, but also to learning by facility owners. By participating in policy labs, their understanding of and trust in other perspectives is developed, and ability to receive and implement new technologies and new methods.

Approach and implementation: ** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** A policy lab creates meeting places for open conversations about issues, creating new networks and constellations between researchers, industry and decision-makers. The focus is on synthesizing evidence regarding AI and translating it to make it useful for policy formulation.

The implementation is based on building trust, comparing perspectives and conditions in meetings, and making the conclusions available so that they become useful for adapting guidelines. The project conducts 4 workshops and produces a final report with recommendations.
