Purpose and goal:
The project "Capacity enhancement for more effective AI regulation" aims to equip market control authorities for safe and effective supervision of AI systems, so that they have an opportunity for preparation before the European AI regulation (AI Act) comes into force. The goal is to enable informed and proactive AI regulation. This can be done through, for example, training, organization, information and tool development.
Expected results and effects:
By strengthening the understanding of AI regulation in practice and identifying key needs, the project aims for a more informed and proactive approach to AI regulation and market control. We also aim to establish a standardized methodology for testing and supervising AI, which makes it easier for both regulators and industrial stakeholders. This will promote technological innovation and support the sustainable and fair use of AI technologies.
