Purpose and goal:
The purpose is to prepare for an experimental project aimed at developing a prototype for a wireless BACNET interface for “Smart Buildings”, specifically adopted for the Asian market. WiTTRA has ground-breaking technology which significantly lowers the barriers for industrial digital transformation through IoT adoption, making advanced RTLS and BMS technologies accessible to all businesses.
The goal of the feasibility study is to prepare for and establish the framework for our upcoming experimental development project. Expected results and effects:
We expect that the collaboration between the Swedish parties and both identified and not yet identified Singapore partners in the project will continue after the feasibility study. The parties will carry out an experimental development project within RTLS and BMS, but also explore various commercial opportunities in Singapore and Asia. We will also explore how access to real-time data can be realized using industry-standard APIs and services, and expect to identify new business opportunities through these activities.
Approach and implementation:
An online workshop will be organised in August to plan and frame the feasibility study with participants from WiTTRA, Rise and Singapore.
Representatives from the project team will visit Singapore to conduct a second, physical workshop together with local partners. This workshop will take place in September or October. When information has been gathered, the results will be analysed, and a report will be written during November.
