Purpose and goal:
The main project aims to radically improve treatment efficiency and patient compliance by ensuring the correct dosage of medicine, which is crucial for efficient management of acute lymphoblastic leukemia and other cancer diagnoses in children.
The purpose of the planning grant project, which falls under the criteria for sustainable precision medicine, is to create a winning proposal for EIC Accelerator to revolutionize how children with cancer take their medicines and thereby save many lives. Expected results and effects:
OnDosis aims to provide a tailored therapeutic solution that combines drug formulation with cutting-edge device technology to meet the complex dosing requirements needed to optimize outcomes in paediatric oncology. Connected to digital services, we will enable ‘closed loop disease management’ in an area that will benefit the most, and where implementation will have low barriers due to the limited patient population, protocol-driven treatment decisions and high level of engagement from caregivers.
Approach and implementation:
The project lasts for 3 months with four work packages, three of which are preparatory jobs in market studies, needs analysis and planning. External experts in the market, regulatory conditions and the needs of healthcare providers are engaged. The fourth is preparation, completion and submission of the EIC Accelerator application. The engaged external writing consultant is Eurofunding.
