Cellevate EUROSTARS 2024/2025

Purpose and goal:

Our objective is to prepare a proposal to Eurostars for funding of a collaboration between Cellevate AB (SE) and Fraunhofer Project Center for Stem Cell Process Engineering at Fraunhofer Institute for Biomedical Engineering (IBMT, GE). As part of this planning project, we want to finalize the consortium, deliver proof-of-concept- results, perform an initial IPR analysis and strengthen the business case.

Finally, we want to engage EU funding consultants to help us review and adjust the final proposal, all to improve our chances of obtaining funding. Expected results and effects:

We expect that the project will partly lead to strengthened collaborations between Cellevate and the international partners participating in the consortium. We also expect that value is created in the form of new scientific results, and that we create a better understanding of a new market. Finally, we expect the project to result in a strong proposal to EUROSTARS, which will be applicable to other possible calls for proposals in case our project is not funded through this instrument.

Approach and implementation: The project is coordinated by Cellevate and is divided into four work packages; 1. Finalization of consortium 2. Identification of partner for and execution of proof-of-concept study 3. Market intelligence, IPR analysis, business case optimization 4. Grant writing and review

During the project, discussions with potential consortium members will take place, an experimental feasibility study will be run, and the market will be analyzed and the business case refined. In addition to this, proposal will be reviewed by experts, to give us the best possible chance of getting funding.
