Planning grant, Integrated biorefinaries

Purpose and goal:

The aim of the project is to develop a competitive proposal for an integrated biorefinery solution with partners from Europe and international participation, submitted to the EU Horizon calls. IVL Svenska Miljöinstitutet will lead the work on developing proposal and coordinate the input and participation of the consortium partners.

Expected results and effects:

The planning grant will enable IVL Swedish Environmental Research Institute to develop a stronger application by increasing resources for networking, project development and planning. Increased efforts to identify tests and pilots, and to ensure that the application and its description of the various parts of the application are clear and in line with the call text. The result of the project is a Horizon application.

Approach and implementation:

The project aims to develop an application and will be divided into three work packages. Work package one will focus on the formation of the consortium, including private actors. Work package two will focus on the development and formulation of the main application itself and the last work package will focus on the coordination of administrative elements to be submitted in connection with the application submission. The work packages will largely be implemented in parallel.
