Grant Description

Purpose and goal:

This pilot project aims to develop a series of workshops/seminars on responsible internationalisation aimed at researchers, department and faculty management at the University of Gothenburg who decide on, and carry out, international collaborations. The goal is to contribute to increased cooperation, quality

assurance, capacity building and experience sharing on responsible internationalization Expected results and effects:

1) increased cooperation, quality assurance, capacity building and experience sharing on responsible internationalization 2) increased collaboration between different experts/support functions within the university. 3) better understanding of the needs and and how the internal process/organization and support for responsible internationalisation can be structured.

4) concept for how large higher education institutions and organizations can work with capacity building efforts based on the national guidelines. Approach and implementation: November 2024: University-wide quality seminar on the theme responsible internationalisation.

Quarter 1, 2025: An in-depth workshop with the university´s deans and heads of department. The workshop will be based on the national guidelines and the final report of the government commission on responsible internationalisation, expected in December this year.
