National Accelerator Program for Civil-Military Synergies

Purpose and goal:

The purpose of the application is to implement a pilot of a robust and effective accelerator program that strengthens cooperation between civil and military actors that can later be established and spread to more actors. The program intends to last for six months and include companies that are physically present at LEAD three days per month. The goal of the program is to support companies that have identified market fit problems in a civilian market, which is expected to maximize the program´s effectiveness.

Expected effects are that the companies that are accelerated will have the opportunity to understand how to establish themselves and do business in a defense-related market, and that the defense-related companies and the armed forces will gain an increased understanding of which civilian solutions are available on the market that can be made available as military solutions.

During the autumn, the program will be built up to the 6-month program that starts in November-December. A programme manager is hired to build up the program and a number of workshops will be conducted with FM/FMV/FOI and FHS as well as with a couple of defense-related companies. Coaches must be procured and both physical and digital environments must be prepared. All so that the program can start during Nov/Dec.
