CMILES: Civil Military Innovation & Leadership Ecosystems

Purpose and goal:

This project aims to develop a blueprint and strategy for a national civil-military

innovation infrastructure. The goal is to create a neutral, independent platform that

promotes collaboration between the civil and military sectors to strengthen Sweden´s

innovation capacity and competitiveness.

Expected results and effects:

Create an outline for a neutral innovation platform for civil-military cooperation through

flexible, inclusive infrastructure for needs-driven development.

Approach and implementation:

The work to produce the sketch is structured in three work packages with a focus on

inventory and dialogue; international dialogue and development of model and

strategy. Through internal and external actor and network mapping, workshops

and dialogues with possible parties and stakeholders, conditions, needs and actors as well as their interest and commitment are identified.
