Civil-military innovation platform (SYNERGIA)

Purpose and goal:

The aim of the project is to develop a model and strategy to create a national innovation infrastructure that integrates civilian and military actors. This includes identifying dual-use technologies that can support both civilian and military applications. Expected results and effects:

Contribute to strengthening Swedish military capability by focusing on technologies with direct relevance to the defense sector, including advanced production processes and digital solutions. Enhance Sweden´s competitiveness by supporting the development of Swedish startups and scaleups that work with promising technologies. Working with international connections, we will utilize existing international collaborations and networks to ensure that Swedish innovations´ competitiveness globally.

Approach and implementation:

Our approach will include a comprehensive mapping of existing actors and resources, development of a strategy that ensures synergies between the civil and military sectors, and develop a plan for a pilot study to test and optimize the model in practice. We will include all relevant actors and stakeholders in the development process to ensure broad support and a robust infrastructure.
