Under the U.S.

Pakistan Centers for Advanced Studies (USPCAS) project, the University of California at Davis (UC Davis) works with the University of Agriculture Faisalabad (UAF) to produce graduates with the technical and soft skills needed in the labor market.

In addition, the activity will conduct and disseminate high quality applied and policy research and, performs industry and government services in the agriculture and food security sector.

UC Davis will utilize funds to provide logistical and technical support for student and faculty exchanges, support for curriculum reform, joint applied research projects in agriculture and food security, and explore or expand partnerships in the food security and agriculture sector.

Anticipated results include: modernized applied research facilities, updated advanced degree programs, and applied research for innovative development solutions.
