Grant Description

The Electronic Waste Recycling program through the Lab's Solar Off Grid Energy (SOGE) team will supports project innovation around sustainable battery technology and the recycling infrastructure of the off-grid solar industry.

Given the lack of existing company take back programs and e-waste recycling infrastructure across sub-Saharan Africa, this project will focus on the long-term sustainability of solar household system comany product distribution, repair, recycling, and end of life disposal.
