Grant Description

The program will fund fellowship opportunities to a range of researchers including faculty, postdocs, research scientists, graduate students, and senior undergraduates interested in research directly aligned with data science priority areas, especially emerging areas of concern identified by DHS. The call will build on the proven mechanisms and prior activities in PEPI-G program, with advertising, assistance and support provided by the South BD Hub staff.

Research areas included within the scope of this program include the following: 1) Cybersecurity: Cyber Infrastructure, Cyber Analytics, Infrastructure Security Analytics, 2) Quantum Computing Cybersecurity Applications, 3) Analysis of Social Media to combat Human Trafficking, 4) Real-time Analytics for Multi-party, Metro-scale Networks (RAMMMNets).

This award reflects NSF's statutory mission and has been deemed worthy of support through evaluation using the Foundation's intellectual merit and broader impacts review criteria.
