Grant Description

Investigating the contribution of metabolism to the immunosuppressive tumour microenvironment in ovarian high grade serous carcinoma (HGSC) to identify therapeutic opportunities.

She will be testing the ability of different metabolic inhibitors that target either lipid, lactate or NAD metabolism to sensitise HGSC mouse models to AKTi, PARPi, anti-VEGF and immunotherapy, whilst characterising the metabolic phenotypes associated with genotype, outcomes and therapy response in syngeneic HGSC mouse models with varying genetic backgrounds.

Her research will also involve identifying the causal metabolic pathways responsible for drug response modulation in HGSC.
