Grant Description

APHIS Islamabad attended the Annual Pakistan Mango Conference on January 31st, 2012 in Islamabad.

The conference brought together growers, packers, exporters, university researchers, and Pakistan government officials to discuss mango exports.

APHIS Islamabad provided information about the program to export mangoes to the United States and guidance on phytosanitary issues. The conference was sponsored by the AID Firms project and was held at the Marriot in Islamabad. APHIS Islamabad co-chaired a session on SPS issues.
