Grant Description

APHIS IS in collaboration with the Caribbean Agricultural Research and Development Institution (CARDI) and the Ministry of Agriculture, St Lucia, developed a research experiment for four counties (St Lucia, Dominica, Grenada and Trinidad) to obtain a better understanding of the apparent differences in the host range of the West Indian Fruit Fly and test they hypothesis - that perhaps there is biotype difference with West Indian fruit flies among the islands.
