Grant Description
CaribVET is a collaborative network involving official veterinary services from 34 Caribbean countries and territories.
This meeting included representatives of international and regional organizations and universities that met to review the activities conducted by the CaribVET technical working groups (Swine Diseases Avian Diseases, Veterinary Public Health, Tick and Tick borne diseases, Epidemiology, Laboratory and Quality Assurance and Communications) and identify animal health needs and actions for the Caribbean Region.
The meeting included a special panel on HPAI regional preparedness with USDA-APHIS participating in the HPAI panel.
