On September 17-19, the CVB participated and provided presentations at the Vaccines and Diagnostics for Transboundary Animal Disease workshop, held in Ames, Iowa.
This workshop focused on state of the art measures related to vaccine and diagnostic tools development for significant transboundary animal diseases. Participants included representatives from industry, government, and academia. The meeting was sponsored by the U.S.
Department of Homeland Security, Science and Technology Directorate; Center for Excellence for Emerging and Zoonotic Animal Diseases; Iowa State University Center for Food Security and Public Health/Institute for International Cooperation in Animal Biologics; and the International Association for Biologicals
