One subject matter expert from NVSL participated in the Foreign Animal Disease Recognition Course, hosted by Canada Food Inspection Agency, and held at the National Centre for Foreign Animal Disease Laboratory, Winnipeg, Manitoba.
The subject matter expert provided two keynote lectures at this course; Eastern, Western and Venezuelan Equine Encephalitis and West Nile Virus infections and Bluetongue and Epizootic Hemorrhagic Disease.
Attendees at the training included veterinarians providing veterinary care for feedlots, dairies, livestock operations and slaughter plants across Canada
