On April 12, 2012, APHIS Biotechnology Regulatory Services (BRS), participated in the GE Cotton meeting in Sonora, Mexico and made a presentation on how we prolong the useful life of the GE technology in the US? The trip was sponsored by USDA-FAS.
Important information presented at the meeting included: Pink bollworm control and its eradication is also a complete success in northern Mexico. Boll weevil is still the number one pest in Mexico
