Grant Description
On April 20, Guatemalas CVO sent a letter to APHIS requesting technical assistance in providing Guatemala with CSF vaccines, training and diagnostic support for their CSF control and eradication program.
In response, APHIS (having obtained Guatemalas concurrence) sent a group of VS experts from September 17-21, 2012 to evaluate the technical aspects of GUAs CSF program and their eradication and control efforts.
The results of this technical visit will help APHIS determine the best course of action in assisting Guatemala with its CSF situation and allow APHIS to assess the feasibility of providing US CSF vaccines for Guatemalas control and eradication program.
