Grant Description

Marco Gonzalez, APHIS/Costa Rica over the last two years has been funded to provide technical assistance to Haitian cooperators and other stakeholders supporting the Mango preclearance program under a USDA/FAS PASA agreement.

The objective of the visit was to initiate the 2016 work-plan which included technical assistance to the cooperators and preclearance program staff regarding the operational aspects of the exotic pest surveillance network developed to provide early warning for Haiti mango producers.
