India - Plain Language Workshop for NIPHM

Under the interagency agreement with USDA/FAS to provide technical assistance to NIPHM India - an activity designed to share effective methods used for written communication with both internal and external stakeholders was developed and delivered by the APHIS Legislative and Public Affairs group. The collaboration resulted in the creation of communication templates tailored for NIPHM.

The objective of this activity which was delivered via Video Teleconference (VTC) to NIPHM in Hyderabad, India was to provide India NIPHM faculty and staff a - a total of 27 persons total, with activities and exercises that emphasize the practice of memo writing and other types of written communication using strategies for simple sentence structures and clear purposeful writing styles.
