Grant Description

Presented a lecture/presentation regarding commodity approval (market access) and the use of irradiation as a Phytosanitary treatment.

The Korean Society of Plant Pathology invited APHIS to provide a keynote lecture at the 50th Anniversary of the KSPP to be held a Seoul National University in Seoul, Korea on October 24-27, 2012.

A USDA/APHIS Senior Risk Manager with APHIS/PPQ represented APHIS at this event. .The main theme of the conference is "Globalization, Climate Change, and Technological Convergence: Challenge and Opportunity of Plant Pathology. Additional information regarding the conference is found at www.kspp.org
