Grant Description

From August 23-26, 2016, the Poultry Disease Detection, Biosecurity in Farms and Live Bird Markets was held in Ghana.

With objectives to strengthen the capacity of laboratory technicians and field epidemiologists on poultry diseases surveillance, diagnostic tools and improved biosecurity procedures in poultry farms and live birds markets the workshop began with each country providing an update on HPAI and other poultry disease surveillance and prevention activities.
