Tuskegee University under the Cooperative Agreement with APHIS - International Services conducted an Advanced Risk Analysis workshop for participants from East Africa. The training was part of the work plan under the current APHIS Tuskegee Cooperative Agreement for capacity building.
This is a second workshop in a series of Risk Analysis Workshops conducted in West and East Africa under the cooperative agreement.
The objective of this workshop was to enable participants who attended a "basic" risk analysis workshop in Ethiopia last year to further develop risk analysis expertise by working on a specific risk analysis project (commodity). PPD also provided a risk analyst to assist Tuskegee. The following countries were represented: Ethiopia, Uganda, Zambia, Egypt, Kenya and Rwanda.
From 08/28/2011 to 09/09/2011.
