Grant Description

Promote regional detection, surveillance and suppression of Tuta absoluta to safeguard agricultural productivity, thereby promoting food security and reducing the use and impact of harmful agrochemicals.

Also supports harmonized surveillance and monitoring of Tuta absoluta in the region in order to mitigate the risk of further spread.

Facilitate the presentation of ongoing basic and applied research problems related to Tuta absoluta at appropriate regional scientific fora.
