Grant Description

The training will enhance detection capabilities for potential African swine fever (ASF) introductions to the Dominican Republic and other Caribbean countries to prevent the spread in country and the region and enhance surveillance for classical swine fever to better assess disease status and distribution.

It will also develop diagnostic capabilities for ASF detection and overall diagnostic preparedness for swine foreign hemorrhagic fevers in the Dominican Republic and other Caribbean countries.
