BRS provided an overview of APHIS regulatory policy on the first day of this two week course which was conducted in collaboration with USDA-FAS.
The FAS-sponsored students, which made up about half of the class, are part of the Cochran Fellowship Program and mainly came from Latin America. The remaining students were from Sub-Sahara Africa and Southeast Asia. During the conclusion of this short course in Washington DC, BRS also represented APHIS on a panel of regulators.
