Grant Description

From February 1-17, 2016, The USDA Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS), International Technical and Regulatory Capacity Building (ITRCB) Center coordinated with Ghana Directorate of Veterinary Services (Ministry of Food and Agriculture) on The control of Avian Influenza and other emerging diseases.

The workshop aimed to provide Ghana Avian Influenza response teams with practical tools to address HPAI (H5N1) outbreaks in Ghana that directly affect the poultry industry and threaten public health.
