On October 1-5, APHIS represented USDA at the World Organization for Animal Health (OIE) Focal Point Seminar and the Committee of the Americas for the Harmonization of Registration and Control of Veterinary Medicines (CAMEVET) meeting held in Sao Paulo, Brazil, representing the import/export interests of the U.S., as well as collaborating with regulatory counterparts from all the countries of the Americas (North, South, and Central).
A representative from CVB also represented the USDA as the OIE Focal Point for veterinary medicinal products, and the USDA collaborating Centre for Vaccine Evaluation in the Americas, presenting information on the USDA biologics program activities during the OIE Focal Point sessions.
