Grant Description

Support the reduction of persistent organic pollutants (POPs) in priority countries and regions, including China and Russia, through collaborative projects to identify sources, reduce releases, or destroy stockpiles.

This work supports the objectives of the Stockholm Convention on Elimination of POPs, the Asia Pacific Partnership on Clean Development & Climeate, the Arctic Contaminants Action Program (ACAP) of the Arctic Council, the 2003 Environmental Agreement between EPA and China SEPA and the EPA-BCSD Environmental Cooperaton Agreement.
