Grant Description

Ukraine Mine Safety: Each fiscal year, DOL receives $1.5 million from the U.S. Department of State to continue the Mine Safety Program in Ukraine.

The goal of the project is the reduce the number and severity of methane and coal dust explosions and to improve the safety practices and conditions in Ukrainian coal mines in general. - Through U.S. Government - Department of Labor.
