The aim of this project is to deliver a new understanding of how urban green spaces respond to extended droughts and their role in flash flood sequence on water infrastructure in cities.
Sheffield is one of the greenest cities in Europe, with several densely populated areas next to sloping parkland, making it an ideal site to study. This project will be carried out in collaboration with the Sheffield City Council.
