Causal inference for ecological observational data

This project will develop new methodology in the field of causal inference for applications with ecological observational data.

Applications may include discovering causal influences in complex spatiotemporal systems, ecological risk assessment, and/or simulation of alternative environmental policy scenarios.

The project seeks to both produce a user-friendly method for causal statistics and contribute to the scientific understanding of cause-and-effect/mechanism structures in ecology.
