Healthcare facilities have unique requirements and high standards for safety, functionality, and comfort.
Post-Occupancy Evaluation (POE) is a key method for assessing the actual performance of healthcare facilities after they are put into operation, ensuring they meet design goals and user needs.
The objective of this study is to develop a BIM-based digital twin platform specifically designed for the POE of healthcare facilities.
This platform utilizes continuous monitoring, centralized data management, and multi-objective data analysis to effectively assess, visualize, and incorporate user feedback.
The proposed POE framework for healthcare facilities, compared with traditional frameworks, shifts from independent evaluations to continuous assessments, enhancing feedback efficiency and bringing substantial value to the design and management of healthcare facilities.
