The research project intends to explore novel hybrid modelling techniques that facilitate end-to-end modelling and optimisation.
The model must effectively handle to propagation of error throughout the system and be capable of running within reasonable timeframes to support real-time optimisation and control. Additionally, the modelling framework should be transferable between different products and processes.
The project will focus on a case study of a bioreactor and primary chromatography unit and modelling the interconnectivity between them. The project aims to develop modelling tools that support optimal performance and adaptive process design.
