The aim of this PhD project is to design and synthesise multi-metallic actinide complexes, which span the molecular, supramolecular, and nanometre length scales.
This will include exploration of the uranium chemistry of our modular synthetic routes to d-f or f-f complexes bridged by a redox-active ligand.
The supramolecular and nanoscale actinide chemistry developed during this PhD will also contribute to the group's ongoing work in collaboration with the nuclear industry.
