This project explores loneliness, experienced but concealed by many young people, taking undergraduates' experiences of the COVID-19 pandemic as the point of departure.
It builds upon a partnership between cultural geographers at the University of Sheffield and curators of medicine at the Science Museum.
Curating, exhibiting and interpreting artefacts held by the Museum, we propose participatory research, using these materials as catalysts for new collecting and conversation about loneliness, anxiety and other intangible aspects of health and wellbeing.
