The candidate will conduct research in the field of Biomedical engineering for developing medical devices which can help in early diagnosis of diseases and perform therapeutic actions.
This research project will involve development of diagnostic solutions for endovascular procedures through soft robotics and its performance measurement for sensitivity, efficacy and specificity.
The impact of the research will help in developing therapeutic models for curing diseases and lay the foundation for medical innovation. Research activities will be performed at the biomedical engineering lab facilities at the University of York.
