The computers were donated by the Chinese government and received by Police Minister Jimson Sauk in Port Moresby. They included printers, inkjets, diskettes and other computer accessories.

Mr Sauk said three of the computers would be used at police headquarters at Konedobu while the other two would be used in the ministry.

The computers will greatly benefit the entire constabulary and the ministry in their effort to effectively compile and store vital information in their job as law enforcers. Mr Zhao Zhenyu said the government would give more computers later in the year.
