Grant Description

On January 14, 2012, the Chinese Government signed an agreement committed to providing a total of 750 million RMB to the Government of Nepal for unspecified infrastructure projects.

This agreement stipulated that China would provide 200 million RMB every year for three years as well as 150 million RMB over the course of the entire three year period. One of these 200 million RMB grants was provided through an Economic and Technical Cooperation Agreement (ETCA). It is unclear if these funds were ever disbursed.

The remaining 550 million RMB is captured in Record ID#34429.
