Sector: Fish, Beneficiaries: Fishermen and fisherwomen in along Lake Turkana, Summary: The grant will improve the capacity and infrastructure of Kangaki BMU to operate as a business, catching and marketing fish from Lake Turkana.

This grant includes training in key areas such as post-harvest handling, deep-water boat operations and safety, data collection tools to measure catch, and BMU governance and financial management.

It will also enable the purchase of a fiberglass boat, fish drying racks, and an office, all with the goal of strengthening Kangaki BMU in its ability to make a profit and benefit its members. ,
